Hi, I'm Matt,
the owner and operator of Pacific Exterior Maintenance, a business I launched in 2022. I was looking for a meaningful way to spend my off hours from the fire department. I was born in Vancouver, Canada, and my family moved to Oahu when I was a child. Growing up on Oahu has played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
Before making my way to Big Island, I managed a building maintenance company on Oahu that specialized in servicing U.S. Military bases. This role was instrumental in shaping my approach to property maintenance. It taught me the importance of precision, reliability, and maintaining high-quality standards, all of which are crucial when working on such critical sites. My time in this role provided me with the skills and experience that I now bring to every project at Pacific Exterior Maintenance.
In 2015, I took on a new challenge by joining the Big Island community as a firefighter. This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, allowing me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Now, as the owner of Pacific Exterior Maintenance, I'm proud to blend my background in property maintenance with my dedication to serving the community.
